So January is finally coming to an end, what a long month it's been! The last of the Christmas chocolate has just been munched (just now in fact), the days are getting longer, and I'm covering the house with Spring flowers.
I'm sure I'm not the first person to admit that I suffer from the Winter blues, so in order to cheer myself up during our darkest and quietest of months I've been surrounding myself with ideas and inspiration for Spring, and going out for plenty of cold, crisp Northumbrian walks with my husband.
I've also been working on a potted Spring flowers range to sell on Etsy very soon, I'll post on my Facebook page when they're done! Here's a little preview of my snowdrops...
They're all handmade by me from crepe paper and make very unique little gifts/decorations, or wedding favours, especially if you're like me and don't have green fingers, but still appreciate flowers and plants. I'll be making more Spring flowers including crocus' and daffodils so keep an eye out...For now I'm looking forward to the coming months working on growing my little business and creating and developing new ideas.
Thanks for reading my update and I hope you've all had a great start to 2017.
